About SevereChase
SevereChase was founded by professional storm chaser Dustin Wilcox in 2006. Dustin Wilcox was born and raised in the Heart of Tornado Alley and developed an interest in extreme weather at a young age. With time, that interest morphed into a Passion that led Dustin to the storm chasing world; by the time Dustin received his first Driver License he was actively pursuing severe weather. At the age of 23, Dustin has filmed countless tornadoes across the country and documented a vast array of extreme weather. Dustin currently runs “SevereChase” a web-based source of stock footage and photography sales. Dustin filmed and produced “StormStruck” a highly credited documentary DVD and has had footage featured on major TV networks, including The Weather Channel’s Storm Stories. Dustin brings an unrivaled intense passion to the Plains each spring and strives to experience and document the most extreme conditions Mother Nature can whip-up, all while assisting victims and taking measures to provide information that will aid in protecting lives.
